Mr. Victoriano Nunez Jimenez, 86 of Delano, passed away on January 9, 2011 in Delano, California. Mr. Jimenez was born on November 3, 1924 in Jalisco, Mexico. Mr. Jimenez resided in Delano for the last ten years. Victoriano is survived by the following: Miguel Nunez of Delano, Salvador Jimenez of Earlimart, Oscar Jimenez of Indiana, Maria Romero of Earlimart, Margarita and Rosa Cantu of Texas, Adelina Monsivais of Mexico, Socorro Lopez, Isabel Escobedo, , Leonidez Toriz Gomez of Earlimart, numerous nieces and nephews and twenty-three Grandchildren and twenty-five Great Grandchildren. Services are as follows: Visitation and Rosary on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Delano Mortuary. Christian Mass will be Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Delano, California. Final resting place will be North Kern District Cemetery in Delano, California. Pallbearers will be: Danny J. Romero, Jesse J. Romero, Xavier Jimenez, Salvador Jimenez, Jr., Victor Jimenez and Oscar Escobedo. Presiding clergy will be Father Javier Alvarez.
