Francile Pearson Winfrey, 78, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., at Bratcher Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday April 24, 2017 at Park Avenue Church of Christ, Denison, Texas with Todd Catteau officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Drew Dale, Rocky Harlow, Gary Hayes, Jimmy Owen Pearson, Bill Winfrey, Ethan Winfrey, and Hugh Dale.
Fran was born January 13, 1939 in Pottsboro, Texas to Sam and Bertha (McGregor) Pearson. After graduating from Denison High School, she married Frank Winfrey in November of 1982. She was a caring mother, always putting her children first. She loved to shop, travel, collect kissing angels, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Park Avenue Church of Christ, and enjoyed taking part in church activities.
She is survived by her husband Frank Winfrey of Denison; son Bill Winfrey of Little Elm, Texas; daughters Kim Wortham and husband Gary of Bells, Texas, Tami Dale and husband Hugh of Frisco, Texas; brother Paul Pearson of Dale City, Oklahoma; sisters Arlene Joines of Denison, and Bobbie Baldwin and husband Ralph of Denison; grandchildren Josh Nunley and Leslie, Amanda Dale, Drew Dale, Samantha Dale, Ethan Winfrey, Taylor Winfrey, Gary Lynn Wortham Jr and wife Clair; and great-grandchildren Joslyn Nunley, Lexi Nunley, and Gavin Wortham.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers Sam, JR, and Owen.
