Barbara B. Brown, 77, of DeQuincy, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born to her late parents, Wilfred and Mary Bergeaux on January 10, 1944 in Turkey Creek, LA. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Keith Brown; four sons, Evan Brown of DeQuincy, Sheldon Brown and wife Janna of Orangefield, TX, Jason Brown of Meridian, MS, and Regan Brown and wife Melisa of Sulphur; one sister, Carolyn Clark and husband Clyde of DeQuincy; eight grandchildren, Joey, Taelor, Meredith, Hannah, Brooke, Jack, Kylie, and Kolby; along with two great grandchildren, Hazley and Aniston.

Barbara is preceded in death by her two brothers, Buddy Bergeaux, Jr. and Gary Bergeaux.

Services will be held at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in DeQuincy on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 10:00am, with Father Eddie Richard officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 8:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.

Services entrusted to Jordan and Amanda Mothershed of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
