Barbara (Burnett) Lambright, 81, of DeQuincy, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was born to her late parents, Mid and Beaulah Burnett on September 4, 1944 in Bayou Den, Louisiana. Some of her favorite pastimes were her Diet Coke and Cheeseburgers. She also loved her stuffed bears.
She is survived by her son, Loren Burnett and fiance' Natasha Trahan of DeQuincy, Louisiana; daughter, Christy DeLoach of Opelousas, Louisiana; two brothers, Daniel Burnett (Diana) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Andrew Burnett of DeQuincy, Louisiana; two sisters, Sybil Guy and Darla Burnett, both of DeQuincy, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Michelle Ashworth, Alex Burnett, and Kameron Burnett; along with one great granddaughter, Melanie Burnett.
A Graveside Celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley, Louisiana on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Wayne Neyland officiating.
