She is survived by her husband of 58 years Gene Woodard; sons Scott Woodard of League City, TX and Michael Woodard and his wife Jeannie of Fort Worth, TX; brother Edgar Hayes and his wife Kyra of DeQuincy; niece Jill Hayes and nephews Joe, Andy and Cliff Hayes.
She was preceded in death by her parents Irvine and Bill Hayes of DeQuincy.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 7, 2011 in the DeQuincy United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery under direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm on Wednesday in the church.
