Liz was born in Grand Isle and lived in DeQuincy. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who always called everyone she knew "Honey". She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors are her children, Kenneth Perkins and wife, Toni, Stella Darbonne and husband, Kim and Donna Buxton; brother, Jerry Santiny; grandchildren, Jennifer Perkins, Kenneth Perkins, Justin Perkins, Rachel Perkins, Deanna Menard, Logan Raggio, KJ Darbonne, Lacy Darbonne and Heidi Daigle; 12 great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be 2pm, Tuesday, May 27, at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5pm-8pm Monday, May 26, at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home and resume Tuesday 8am until service time. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
