

From Cameron, Mr. Daigle lived in DeQuincy for 42 years. He retired from Tidewater Marine after 42 and 1/2 years as a Supply Boat Captain. He loved to read, and Louis L’amour books where his favorite, he would read and reread them over.
Survivors include his children, Richard Daigle and wife Dianna of DeQuincy, Michael Daigle and wife Melissa of Sulphur, Marlene Ruebush and husband Joe of DeQuincy, Chris Daigle and wife Becky of DeQuincy, Jennifer Ancelet and husband Willie of DeQuincy and James Daigle and wife Shelly of Sulphur; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Daigle and Victoire E. Montie Daigle; his wife, Ella Mae Daigle; and a granddaughter, Tessa Daigle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Monday, March 21, 2016 in Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church with Father Ed Brunnert M.S. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 20 from 4:00pm until9:00pm at Hixson Snider Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6:00pm and visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00am until 9:30am.
