Karen C. Edgerton, 73, of Moss Bluff, LA. passed into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She was born to her late parents, Pollet Jr. "Bugs" and Jenell Clark on June 25, 1949 in Lake Charles, LA. She was a faithful member of First Church of the Nazarene in Lake Charles and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Karen was a devoted Christian who would help anyone in need. She loved Southern Gospel Music, especially the Gaither Vocal Band. Most of all, she loved her family and her friends.

She is survived by her son, John Paul Edgerton (Cinde) of Moss Bluff; brothers, Ben Clark of Sulphur, LA, Don Clark of Lake Charles, and Randy Clark of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Bibiana and Ariana; great grandson, William; and her cousin, Beverly Rhodes.

Karen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip E. Edgerton "Peaches Juice".

A Celebration of Karen's life will be held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy, LA. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 am, with Rev. John Hoffpauir officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Perkins Cemetery.

Services entrusted to Jordan and Amanda Mothershed of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home.
