Rosetta "Totsie" Istre

Rosetta "Totsie" Istre, 81, of Ragley, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born on September 7, 1937 in Mamou, LA. She loved arts and crafts, cooking, and tending her flower garden.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Istre and wife Tanya of Lake Charles, Philip Istre of Pigeon Forge, TN; one sister, Eldwina Underside of Ragley; three grandchildren, Christopher Istre of Shreveport, Camryn Istre of Lake Charles, Robert McKelvain and wife Mary of Ragley; and three great grandsons, Damien, Domnick, and Foster McKelvain.

Totsie is preceded in death by her parents, Renie and Dolzena McGee; one daughter, Michelle McKelvain; along with numerous brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm at the DeQuincy Church of Christ on Monday, October 1, 2018 with Bro. Al Woodard officiating. Visitation will be at the DeQuincy Church of Christ prior to the service beginning at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the DeQuincy Church of Christ.
