I am so very sorry for everybody’s loss. I will always remember Sean as being so kind and loving. He had such a big heart. My heart goes out to all of you. 

I met Sean in 1996. I believe he was the first person from Wisconsin that I had ever met. I knew he was a man of integrity. He has also been an outstanding coworker. My sincerest condolences to his family here and in Wisconsin. May GOD great everyone peace and comfort during this difficult time. 

This is a photo taken at his Dad's and Nancy's home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sean enjoyed cold weather and he rarely got sick. I remember that Sean would crack many jokes and give us tips like buying gold before the 2008 market crash. He was a great researcher, especially when it came to understanding scriptures. He really enjoyed Chuck and Nancy Missler's books. I would recommend Why Should I be the First to Change?: The Key to a Loving Marriage for anyone desiring a Godly marriage.  Also, he recommended and purchased for me: Tomorrow May be Too Late and Never Give Up, part of the King's Highway Series. Maybe these books will bring comfort to you as well during this time of loss.

Something special that I shared with my brother was having fraternal twin girls. We did speak from time to time about raising twin girls. He absolutely adored all of his children, and he was an outstanding twin dad...which is not an easy feat by any stretch of the imagination. 

Sean was the person I could talk to about anything while I was growing up. He was an outstanding listener and gave me some wholesome feedback. I could always depend on him for anything. This is a picture the four of us kids took for our parents during our early-middle adulthood. Me, Jennifer, Sean, and John.

This professional picture was taken of Sean on March 27, 1999. He was 27 years old. He was one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met. He strived to see the world and share his travel experiences with those around him.  He enjoyed meeting people from different cultures. I believe that he deeply enjoyed living in Louisiana and contributed greatly to his community.

Sean was proud to be a United States Marine for 6 years. He served 2 tours of active duty in Okinawa, Japan, and was on a humanitarian mission in the Philippines after a devastating volcano eruption in 1991. He received a Marksman distinction as an accurate sharpshooter. He was a journeyman who provided generator power for his units. I got to visit him at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California during his Basic Training experience.

I worked with Sean as his Admin since April of 2021 at Sasol.  It was truly an honor to work with Sean.  I will miss him dearly.  Its not the same here without him.  He was a great asset to our team, a forever friend and he will never be forgotten.  Rest Easy Sean, we all love you dearly! 

Sean and I met 21 years ago on a job. He was instrumental in me putting my faith in Jesus. He spent hours at my house teaching me and my family about the Bible. And always encouraging us to learn something new. Sean will be dearly missed.

Praying for friends and family, he was a true man of God, a true friend, and will truly be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Katie Carpenter; his children, Dawson Carpenter, Kynslee Carpenter, Hannah Carpenter, Sophia Carpenter, Gabby Carpenter, and Lydia Carpenter; father and step mother, Charles and Nancy Carpenter; brother, John Carpenter of Florida; and sisters, Jennifer Rasch and Tami Carpenter, both of Wisconsin; along with his mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Reyna Quebodeaux of Carlyss, Louisiana.


Sean is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Keating.
