Vicky Lanell Ortega

Vicky Lanell (Puckett) Ortega, 63, of DeQuincy, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. She was born to her late parents, Bill Puckett and Ruth Lankford on September 26, 1960 in Thibodeaux, Louisiana. Vicky loved her family very much, especially her children, Jacob and Melissa who were her world.

She is survived by her son, Jacob Kelley (Cyndi) of The Colony, Texas; daughter, Melissa Crow of Colorado; siblings, Beth, Anecia, and Billy “Bo”; along with her grandson, Brannon Briggs.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Dorothy “Bunchie” Barrett Puckett; along with her granddaughter, Aveline Leigh Kelley.

A Graveside Service celebrating Vicky’s life will be held at Georgetown Cemetery in Georgetown, Louisiana on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 12:00 pm.

Services entrusted to Jordan and Amanda Mothershed of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
