

William Edward Frazier was a lifelong resident of DeQuincy, LA. Edward was born in DeQuincy, LA on January 22, 1926 to parents, Willie H. Frazier and Mary M. White-Frazier.
Funeral will be Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Hixson-Snider Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2011 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to Service Time.
Edward served honorably in the United States Navy from 1944-1947 was stationed overseas in Plymonth, England during WWII. His first job was Stump Shooting for Newport Turpentine Plant in DeQuincy. Then he worked at the Box Factory in Lunita, LA and worked for the American Bridge and Livingston Ship Building. He was a retired member often Boiler Makers Local 587 union of Orange, Texas. He worked as welder on many jobs.
Edward was a Pentecostal by faith. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and enjoyed being with his family. Edward never met a stranger he was always there to help other, give his advice, and tell his jokes. Edward was preceded in death by his father, Willie H. Frazier and mother, Mary M. White-Frazier, 1 brother, Kenneth and 2 baby brothers, daughter Patricia Lucille Perkins, and a grandson, Randall Darren Jones.
Edward is survived by his wife, of 63 years Ruby Lucille LeBleu-Frazier; 2 sons, James E. Frazier and wife, Becky of DeQuincy, LA, David A. Frazier and wife, Cristie of Orange, TX; daughter, Linda Jones and husband, Billy of Orange, TX; 12 grandchildren, Billy Jones Jr. and wife, Marnie, Kimberly Gillis and husband, Waylon, Melissa DeViney and husband Quinn, Craig Frazier and wife, Karly, Jonathan Perkins, Karen Frazier, Danielle Frazier, Dylan Frazier, Delaine Frazier, Darren Frazier, Johnathan Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson; great grandchildren, Trey Jones, Cole Jones, Orrin Gillis, Kilon Gillis, Jacilyn Jones-Brady, Kaylin Hyatt, and Micah Frazier; son-in-law, Fred Perkins and a very large extended family.
