

Gayla was a member of Redeemer United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also liked camping, canoeing, swimming, golfing, flowers, gardening, bowling and shopping. Above all, Gayla loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rockie Smallacombe; sister, Wendy Akers; and brother, James Sigmon. Surviving are husband, Jack; daughter, Lisa (Mark) Wehner; sons, Rick Post and Mike DeFoe; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Ashlie, Amanda, Bryan, Brianna, Jazmine, Lukas; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Sigman; and sister, Gwen Bertram.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, with Rev. Dr. Rodney Kalajainen officiating. The family will receive visitors Friday February 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
