Jerry made maple syrup for 50 years from his own maple trees. He loved to talk. He worked for Oldsmobile for almost 30 years in manufacturing. Jerry married his wife, Delores, in December of 1962, and they were married for 62 years.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Betty McNeilly, Ken Gardner, Glenn Gardner, Walt Gardner.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Delores Ann (Warner) Gardner, and daughter Joy (Jim) Hunt and son Philip (Tammy) Gardner.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, at 3pm at the Heritage Baptist Church located at 1380 E Round Lake Rd, DeWitt, MI 48820. A service will follow beginning at 4pm, and a luncheon to follow the service. A private burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
