Jean A. Thayer

DeWitt, Michigan

Age 89, passed away May 26, 2015. Jean was born July 5, 1925 in DeWitt, Michigan, the daughter of Earl and Ruth (Chant) Miller. She married Raymond Thayer on May 11, 1946. Jean was a homemaker and a member of The Blue Star Mothers. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and brother, LeRoy Miller. She is survived by sons, Curtis (Linda), Randall, and Kevin (Carmen); daughter, Connie (Vedell) Isham; sister, Marjorie Ballard; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and also one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
