Dewitt, MI formerly of Lansing, MI
Jerry “Champ” Ripley, died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at age 63. Surviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Debra, five children; eight grandchildren; along with many supportive friends. He served 11 years in the US Army and worked at General Motors for 30 years. Many of his last years were spent with his bride on his Harley Davidson. He selflessly offered help to others throughout his life. To say 'he will be missed' is an understatement.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Charitable donations in his memory can be made to Hospice Advantage , 801 S. Waverly Rd #200, Lansing, MI 48917.
Thank you for fighting the fight. You will always be the ultimate "Champ". "Say not in grief ‘he is no more', but live in thankfulness that he was."
The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington Street, DeWitt, MI 48820.
