Joyce M. Meacham

Holt, MI

Age 83, born August 23, 1928 in Muskegon, MI to the late Gustav and Mary (Pelto) Makie; went to be with her Lord on April 13, 2012. Joyce was a very social lady being a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a very devoted member of Christ Lutheran Church for many years and the Dorcas Guild through the Church. Joyce also loved spending time at Lake Michigan with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Meacham, in 2000; and son-in-law, Lee Sundberg. Surviving are 3 daughters, Cynthia Sundberg, Michelle (Jerry) Page, Lori (Phillip Johnson) Meacham; son, Robert R. (Elizabeth) Meacham; 9 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Katrina, Kristin, Alexander, McKenzie, Grace, Claire, Madelyne; and 2 great-grandchildren, Allison, and Weston. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI with Pastor Dennis Demond officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the DeWitt chapel from 11a.m.-1p.m. prior to the service.
