I'll never for forget the lightening bolt Mark. Thank you!!

The first time I met Mark, we were both 12 years old. At the old Holiday Lanes Bowling Alley, Saturday morning bowling league. Mark and I would always try to outdo each other to see who would have the highest game score and the highest average. Then we went to junior high and high school together. Great laughs! Fun times! Lasting memories!Luvya Mark!

One of my favorite memories is the rifle range. We had to practice and we were partners. We had fun laughing at other's scores.  Best of all, he showed me some things that raised my scores to expert.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to be his Marine buddy. U

I remember Saturday morning's at Holiday Lanes. Mark and I bowled together from 8 years old to 12 years old. We were teammates for 3  years. All 3 years we took 1st place. Even though we were on the same team we were fierce competitors. To see who would end up with the highest average. At our banquet Mark and I would see who got the most patches. It was always close or we tied. In our teenage years we became a high school friends again. I know Mark is looking down and laughing because he ended up with one more patch than I did. Ray (Sam) Brooks.

I served in the Marines with Mark. We had a great time working, swimming, playing tennis, running, working out and as many fun things one can do in Hawaii. To thus day I love Mark like no time has passed. I have only one picture and he didn't smile as we were being sent to different places for 6 months. I wish my late parents and my current adult children could have met him. Not only would they have been excited, I would have been so proud. What a kind person and great friend Mark was. Even though you all know him well, I knew him really well for the time we had together ❤ 

My favorite memory of Mark is how kind he was. We were Marines together. 

Mark and I grew up together bowling on Saturday mornings at the old Holiday lanes. Mark and I were on two Championship 1st place teams. Mark and I often competed in fun to see who would end up with the best average. Always ending up with fries and cokes. Love you Mark. Peace !!

Mark, my brother, taught me so much; from a youngster to an adult. He taught me how to play tennis, baseball, basketball, wrestling and really, any and all sports. He would tell me when I was making bad decisions and praise me when I made good ones. My favorite adult memory was when he taught me how to shoot the "big guns." A Smith and Wesson .357 magnum and a Freedom Arms .454 Casull. They were very intimidating and I was nervous and leery.  He calmed my nerves and showed confidence in me that I could not only shoot these weapons, but shoot them effectively as well. By the time he was done with my training, I could put an entire cylinder of these explosive rounds in the center quadrant of the targets. I was so proud of myself; but I don't think I was as proud of myself as he was of me. I will think of Mark, my brother, so fondly every time I shoot these weapons and remember his instructions of which I will pass along to others. Mark, my brother, and I could and would talk about anything and everything. I will miss having his ear and his counsel. I loved my brother dearly and will miss him beyond measure. Rest well my brother.

I was saddened to read of Mark’s passing.  I worked with Mark at Instrument Makar before he struck out on his own.  I had tremendous respect for him.  He was hard working and smart.  He had great stories.  I'm praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time.  

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mark! He was such a great guy, always positive vibes when conversing with him. He was always happy and outgoing with everyone he met! He always greeted my husband and I as if we were family. We will cherish the times he spent with us from time to time, especially remembering the year he took us to the 40 to cut down our first "real" Christmas tree! 

I knew Mark since he was very young as Anita Scott or my cousins by marriage he was always such a pleasant person to be around always had to sweet smile was very kind and loving to his family so sorry I couldn't be there today Anita and family but will always remember him God bless you and the family

I was saddened to hear of Mark's passing.  I am comforted that he will be again reunited with his Jack Russel terrier who he loved so dearly.  He was a proud Marine, who served his country well. My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time. May he Rest In Peace!
