Mary Louise Schroeder

Mary was an accomplished equestrian and her favorite horses were Trigger, Blackie and Brandie. She was a lover of pets, her favorite companions and partners in crime were her German Shorthair dog, Gypsy, her cat, Trouble and her barn cat, Blondie. Mary was an avid gardener, but above all, she loved to drive her tractor around the farm and on her lawn.

Mary was a graduate of Sexton High School with the class of 1948. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts Degree from Western Michigan University. Mary was a teacher at Hastings High School. She also taught Spanish and Latin with Lansing Public Schools and served as a Guidance Counselor.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her special friends and cousins.

Mary's friends and family would like to say a special thank you to Mary's Caregiver from Visiting Angels for her special care.

Private Services will be held. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.
