Melissa Ann Arthur

Melissa Ann Arthur, 50, of DeWitt, Michigan passed away March 14, 2016. She was born January 31, 1966 in Lansing, Michigan to David Carl and Nancy Lea (Marten) Jakovac. Melissa was artistic, loved music, and enjoyed bowling and a good game of golf. Above all, she was devoted to her family, along with Angel, her Labrador Retriever. Raising her two children was her primary focus in life.

Melissa was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents. Surviving to cherish her memory are husband, Marc; daughter, Amanda; son, Nolan; parents, David and Nancy; sister, Becky Carl; nephew, Dylan Carl; aunt and uncle, Larry and Connie Button; cousin, Todd Richards; and many other beloved family members.

A memorial service will take place March 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan with Pastor Bryan Salminen officiating. The family will receive visitors March 18, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Those desiring may make donations in honor of Melissa to the Susan G.
