Born November 27, 1939 in Ft. Wayne Indiana, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy’s life revolved around her family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Frank Manning. Their beautiful and special relationship was inspiring and felt by all who knew them.
Nancy had many talents, but dedicated her life to the upbringing of her 4 children, Chris (Ann) Manning, Kevin (Mariah) Manning, Liz (Brian) Smith and Steve (Aimee) Manning.
That love and dedication continued to her 11 grandchildren, whom she loved, supported, guided and shaped to her loving character.
She is also survived by her sister, Shirley (Bill) Stevens; brother, Terry (Rita) Reinking; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved.
Nancy was a model of Christ’s servant love. She gave to everyone and expected nothing in return. She was a great friend and a light to everyone she met. Nancy had beauty, faith, joy, wit and spirit.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Sparrow hospital, all of whom provided care and support to Nancy and her family with skill and compassion.
