Norma was born on February 9, 1931 to Roy and Irene Decker. She married Charles Ferguson on June 16, 1951 and they were blessed with four children, Connie (Mike) Botke, Richard (Jean) Ferguson, Kathy (Jim) Howland, and David (Rose) Ferguson. Norma and Chuck were further blessed with eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Norma has lived all her life in the DeWitt area. She loved music and sang in church choirs and other musical groups. She enjoyed being a homemaker, her many friends, traveling, playing cards, dancing, and singing.
Norma loved being around children. She worked part time in the kitchen at the DeWitt Public schools and cooked for students attending seventh grade camp for over twenty years.
Norma passed away from this world to her heavenly home on June 28, 2014 after battling Alzheimer’s disease for many years. We know she is now rejoicing with her parents and many friends. She will be missed by all who know and loved her.
