

Pamela Jane Becka, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 73 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on June 25, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, to William and Dora Doerge.
Pamela married the love of her life, Michael Becka, on August 31, 1974, in Ohio, and together they shared 49 beautiful years of marriage. Pamela earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Akron University and dedicated a significant part of her career as the former assistant to the dean of engineering at Valparaiso University. Later in life, she retired as an analyst for MPHI.
Devoted to her faith, Pamela was an active member of the Catholic Community of St. Jude in Dewitt, MI, and the Catholic Women's Group. Her family was at the center of her world, and she tirelessly cared for their well-being. Pamela found joy in traveling, expressing herself through painting, nurturing her garden, and creating cherished memories as "nana" with her grandchildren.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Michael Becka, her daughters Katherine Tarleton (Rob), Deborah Novak (Cory), and Julia Becka (fiance Victor DeWulf), her grandchildren Jackson, Rocco Beck, and Faye Novak, and her brother William Doerge (Mary). She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dora Doerge, and her sister, Debra Doerge.
Visitation to celebrate Pamela's life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Dewitt Chapel from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with an 8:00 pm rosary service. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Catholic Community of St. Jude in Dewitt, preceded by visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Following the mass, a committal service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lansing.
Pamela's kindness, love, and unwavering faith will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
