Robert Eugene Quinn

Robert Eugene Quinn, also known as Bob, passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 79 in Lansing, Michigan. Born on August 6, 1944, in New Albany, Indiana, Bob was a beloved family man and a dedicated provider. He had a great sense of humor and was always trying to bring laughter to those around him.

Bob is survived by his sons Ryan and Kyle, as well as his granddaughters Isabelle and Abigail. He also leaves behind his sisters Judy Nalley and Pat Duerr. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Susan Quinn, his sister Phyllis, and his brother Joe Quinn.

In his professional life, Bob had a successful career. He spent 25 years as the Head of Display at Sears Roebuck & Co and served as the General Manager of Old America for 10 years. From March 1964 to March 1968, Bob proudly served in the Air Force, where he developed a strong sense of duty and camaraderie.

Apart from his professional life, Bob had a range of hobbies that brought him joy. He enjoyed playing basketball, expressing his creativity through art, painting, drawing, and woodworking. He also had a passion for collecting movies. Bob found solace and community at DeWitt Community Church, where he worshipped. His faith was an important aspect of his life. At this time, no service is scheduled, but there will be a celebration of life held at a later date to honor and remember Bob's remarkable life. Bob will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. His dedication to his family, his sense of humor, and his many talents will be cherished and remembered forever.
