Russell Paul Lowe Sr.

Russell, born March 5, 1933, passed away on March 7, 2010, two days after his 77th birthday. Russell was a veteran of the US Army, and retired from General Motors in 1991 after 26 ½ years of service. He loved fishing and camping. He was very talented with his wood working and did several craft shows. Russell was preceded in death by his son Richard Lowe. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years Ruth; daughters, Jeannine (Larry) Ames, Deborah Lowe; sons Russell (Vicki) Lowe, Jr., Ray (Jennifer) Lowe, Robert (Mary Ellen) Lowe, Ronald (Sharon) Lowe; daughter-in-law Tina (Richard deceased) Lowe; 21 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Duane Lowe, Larry Lowe; 3 sisters, Patricia Wiswasser, Rita Tarrant, and Linda Schaffer. Russell always had a warm smile and enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. Russell thoroughly enjoyed being with his wife, as with her, “life was good”. He will be missed by his loving family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Prange officiating. Interment will follow at Reed Cemetery, in Laingsburg.
