Sharon Ann Buchner

Sharon worked for AutoOwners Insurance before retiring after 17 years of service. Ever a loving mom and grandma, Sharon loved to be with and care for her family, and treasured her memories of Sunday dinners on the farm. She also enjoyed her dogs and cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lucy Alward, her sisters, Eileen Swartz and Darlene Root, her brothers, John, Robert, and Ronald Alward, and her son, Craig Buchner.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Robin (Randy) Jobin; her son, Steve Buchner; her grandchildren, Kyle (Liane) Jobin, Kara Reader, and Jason Laferriere; her three great-grandchildren, Weston Reader, Emma Jobin, and Aubrey Jobin; her brother, Richard (Janet) Alward; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 5pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
