

Thomas Michael Price, (Tommy gun), Lansing, age 49, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 7, 2011. He was born on May 13, 1961 at Fort Lee, Virginia. He graduated from Alpena High School in 1979; proudly served our Country in the United States Navy; and was a long time employee of Coca Cola. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson, even with icicles on his beard. Tom loved life, enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, the Packers, and the Red Wings. He would gladly give you the shirt off of his back. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alexander Modrak and Frank D. Price. Surviving are his son Jonathan; grandmother, Frances Modrak; parents Duane (Ed) and Patricia Price; brothers Daniel (Laura), Robert (Lisa), Michael (Teresa) and sister Kathleen (James) Richardson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his niece, Isabel, who held a very special place in his heart. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation 1 hour prior to service, at Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge Street, DeWitt, MI with Rev. Fr. Dwight M. Ezop as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2011, at the church, from 6-8 p.m., with the Rosary being prayed at 8:00 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Catholic Community of St. Jude, Debt Reduction Fund, 409 Wilson, DeWitt, MI 48820 in memory of Thomas Price. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel.
