

Tomas was born July 31, 1941, the son of Lee and Betty Domanski. He attended J.W. Sexton High School and went to further his education at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
He married his love, Karen L. Snyder, on November 25, 1961, and together they had two children.
Tom retired from General Motors, Experimental Assembly. He was the family’s expert “ Mr. Fix it” and enjoyed doing things for his family. He was an avid reader of history and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was very knowledgeable about all of God’s creation. Tom liked taking care of the birds around his property and especially enjoyed answering questions about nature and habits of animals.
Tom was a quiet and reserved man, but knew how to make you laugh with his excellent sense of humor.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Rest Cemetery.
Tomas is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karen; his children, Shelley L. (Kevin) Tufnell and Karis L. (Kevin) Ray; Grandchildren, Joseph Tufnell, Jacob (Ashleigh) Tufnell, Jonathan Tufnell, Meghan Ray, Elizabeth Ray, and Hannah Ray; Great Grandchildren, Jack and Olivia Tufnell; and his sisters, Janet (William) Schafer, Katy Smith and Patsy (Troy) Creed.
Tomas is preceded by his parents, Lee and Betty Domanski; and his brother John.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Lansing; City Rescue Mission of Lansing; McLaren Hospice and Homecare Foundation.
