Yvonne J. Cowdry

Yvonne J. Cowdry, 92, of Bath, passed away April 3, 2018. She was born June 14, 1925 in Lansing, MI to Leo and Iva (Treadwell) Redoutey. Yvonne was a member of many organizations including the Bath American Legion Auxiliary Post 412, DeWitt VFW Auxiliary, Sunbeam Rebekas Lodge, and The Big Orange Club. She also served as a Girl Scout Leader, and a softball coach.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burton; and son-in-law, Steve Albrecht. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughter, Tamara Albrecht; son, Leo Cowdry; 4 grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Lonnstrom, Adam (Trish) Albrecht, Nick Cowdry, Steve “Kyle” (Francesa) Albrecht; 4 great grandchildren, Peighton Albrecht, Taylor Albrecht, Everett Lonnstrom, Vivienne Lonnstrom; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday April 11 from 2-4 pm and from 6-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, MI. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am Thursday April 12 at the funeral home with interment following at Rose Cemetery, Bath.
