Christopher David Becnel

Christopher David Becnel, age 25, of Vacherie passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his residence. Christopher is survived by his parents, David and Kathleen “Kitty” Becnel; two sisters, Courtney and husband Keith, Cindy and husband Chris; one brother, Corey and wife Sadie; grandmothers, Agnes F. Becnel, Inez R. Scioneaux; nephews, Keith Paul, Cade, Cole, Zachary, Luke; niece, Emma and his beloved dog, Deuce and Te-Beau, too. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Judge Charles S. Becnel, Orence “Blue” Scioneaux; uncles, James Becnel, Charles S. Becnel, Jr. and aunts Anne B. Palazzolo, Laura F. Scioneaux and great aunt, Lema “Nennaine” Reulet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Fr. Michael Miceli officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 8:30 am until the Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the church mausoleum.
