Debra Ann Frey

Debbie Frey, 61, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, died on Monday, May 6, 2013 at her home. She was a high school graduate of Ascension Catholic High School and a Registered Nurse from Our Lady of The Lake Nursing School. Debbie’s family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed tennis with her friends.

She is survived by Lou Frey, her loving husband of 40 years; two sons, Jess Frey and Lane Frey, Allison (Lane’s wife); and sister, Audrey Songy. Preceded in death by her parents, Louis Anthony and Audrey Lorenz Dufrene.

Pallbearers will be Lou Frey, Lane Frey, Jess Frey, Johnny Simpson, Claude Songy, and Jerry Falgoust.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. – 9: 45a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in church mausoleum.
