Hazel Agnes Poirier

Hazel is survived by her daughters, Lisa Blattel (Kevin), Lydia Brown (Michael) and Lori Gegg (Michael, Jr.); sons, Jack R. Poirier, Jr. (Tina) and Eric Poirier (Laura); sisters, Doris Castleberry and Joyce Haydel; brothers, Milton Granier and Adrien Granier; grandchildren, Melissa Poirier Larks (Cory), Stuart Poirier (Shelley), Chase Brown, Matthew and Donovan Gegg, Lindy Donahue, Patrick McCarroll and fiancé Gillian and Alex McCarroll; great grandchildren, Victoria Poirier, Alyssa Dunn, Juliana Larks, Sadie and Savana Poirier.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Poirier, Sr.; parents, Adrien and Virginia Schexnayder Granier; grandsons, John Fredrick Dunn and Jack Michael Gegg; son-in-law, Danny Dunn and 8 siblings.

Hazel loved her grandchildren and family. She was an avid gardener. She also made rosaries for Missionaries and the military. She was a member of the Adoration Chapel, coordinator for Pray the Rosary in the Park, an Ascension Cleaning Angel and a Eucharistic minister.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Ascension Catholic Church from 9am - 11am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am with burial to follow in Ascension Catholic Cemetery.
