Helen Faucheux

Helen Theresa Simoneaux Faucheux, 82, passed away on June 3, 2011 at Luling Living Center. Helen was a native of Donaldsonville, former resident of Wallace, and resident of Luling Living Center for 12 years. Helen was a member of the St. Philip, No. 1504 Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She is survived by one daughter Louise Fontenot and husband Brent; four sons David and wife Diane, Paul and wife Pepper, Glenn and wife Crystal, and Joey and wife Debbie; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one sister Edith Miglicco; three brothers M. J. “Kelly”, Herbert John, and Russel Simoneaux.

Preceded in death by her husband Lynn Faucheux; parents Milton and Louise Simoneaux; and daughter-in-law Susan Tregre Faucheux.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Luling Living Center for the care of their mother and staff of Hospice Compassus for the last two months.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie from 8:00 a.m. – till Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Celebrant Fr. Vincent Dufrene. Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
