Jacqueline "Jackie" Capello

Jacqueline “Jackie” Blythe Capello, 74, a resident of Donaldsonville, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Jacqueline was a Licensed Practical Nurse who served for many years on the Donaldsonville Housing Authority and also served as a Paraprofessional for the Ascension Parish School Board. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her friends, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary “Sissy” Capello Remington and Michelle Capello Thibodeaux; two sons, Lloyd “Rocky” Capello Jr. and Jody Capello; seventeen grandchildren, Craig Capello Jr., Brandon Capello, Amber Capello Jones, Lauren Capello, Elias B. Capello, Brenna Bowen, Haley Capello, Lloyd “Trey” Capello III, Dylan Bowen, Zachary Capello, Logan Thibodeaux, Jason Capello, John Capello, Karli Freudenberg, Tyler Thibodeaux, Christopher Capello and Joseph Milazzo and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Lloyd Capello Sr.; one son, Craig Daniel Capello Sr.; parents, Sine and Deca Smith Blythe and siblings, Dallas Blythe, Dalson Blythe, Lucille Blythe Thomas, Daisy Blythe Tiller, Lorene Blythe Williams and Margie Blythe Miller. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville from 6pm until 9pm and will resume on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
