

John Henry King, Jr., a native of Oakdale and resident of Belle Rose, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was 76 and a retired welder avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He is survived by his daughter, Carol King Krumholt; grandson, Jace Krumholt; special dog, Snow “Noonie Girl” step grandchildren, Shandi, Tori, and Nick; numerous great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Geraldine and husband, Ernest Landry and Lisa and husband, Danny Sparks; special godchild, Katina and husband, John Michel; sisters, Irene Stiles, Ellorine Warden, Francis Heartsfield, Amanda Perkins, and Brenda Landry and brothers, Asa “Bozo” King, Sr., George King, Sr., and Roger King. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma King; son, Howard King; son in law, Jerry “Black” Krumholt; grandson, Blair Krumholt parents, John Sr. and Rose Lee Strong King; mother and father-in-law, Ivey and Agnes Albarado; sisters, Odelia King Albarado, Connie Wetgerland and Jennifer King Stanhope. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Hebert, Jace Krumholt, Morgan Albarado Jr., Drew Albarado, Daniel Sparks and Ernest Landry Sr. Visiting will be at the Brusly St. Martin Chapel on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 9am until Funeral Service at 11am.
