Marie “Maggie” Peltier Newchurch, age 56, died on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010 at her home in St. Amant, LA. She was a native of Pierre Part, LA. She is survived by four children and a son-in-law, Kandace Alicia Landry Breaux and husband Irvin Adam Breaux Jr., Rainey Mar-enn Landry, Jerome Robert Newchurch, and Mary Elizabeth Newchurch; three brothers, William “Bill” Peltier, Patrick “Pat” Peltier, and Timothy “Timmy” Peltier; one sister, Emma Teresa Peltier Howard; four grandchildren, Ean Paul Landry, Baili Claire George, Marlee Beth Breaux, and Camden Lee Breaux; former husband and friend, Michael “Skeeter” Newchurch. Preceded in death by her parents, Jerome Bernard Peltier, M.D. and Mary Elizabeth Rainey Peltier; three grandchildren, Alicia Kaye Breaux, Gabrielle Jolie Breaux, and Tanner Alan Breaux.
