Mildred Louise (Esteve) Esteve Blanchard

Mildred Louise Esteve Blanchard, a native of White Castle and resident of Prairieville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the age of 94. Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed her Jumble puzzles and watching her favorite shows on TV. Mildred is survived by her sons, Wayne P. Blanchard and wife, Jackie, Randall F. Blanchard and wife, Kathy, and Glynn Blanchard; grandchildren, Julie Blanchard Denton, Kenny Blanchard, Sean Paul Blanchard, Emma Jean Blanchard, Heather Blanchard, Blaine Blanchard, Kami Jasso, Karli Wells, Chad Ricard, and Ashley Crum; great-grandchildren, Chase Denton, Cole Denton, Heavenleigh Blanchard, Gabrielle Blanchard, Pheonix Linn, Walker Kelly, Garrett Kelly, Noah Jasso, Jordan Blanchard, Jayden Crum, LJ Crum, Sydney Wells, Johanna Wells, Tommy Bates, Swade Ricard, and Chad Ricard, Jr.; great-great granddaughter, Imani Blanchard; special friends, Judy Blanchard, Mel and Donald Day, and Linda Cox. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Blanchard; parents, Felix and Ananise Esteve; daughter, Sue Ann Blanchard Ricard; son, Timothy J. Blanchard; daughter-in-law, Julie Blanchard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, LA from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
