Palace Mae Blanchard

Palace Mae Blanchard, 89, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Dale Cassard; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Debbie Blanchard, Joseph and Kathy Blanchard, Michael and Tracy Blanchard, and Mitchell and Sheila Blanchard; 19 grandchildren, Jason and Jesse Cassard, Ryan, Rusty, Reid, Ray, Mitchell, Matt, Grant, Jacob, Joseph, Regan, Kayla, Payton, and Carroll Blanchard, Victoria McKnight, Ben Mouton, Paige LeMay, and Nicholas Pickel; and 28 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Blanchard; one son, Edward Blanchard; and her parents, Edward and Lillian Guilfou. Pallbearers will be Jason Cassard, Jesse Cassard, Ryan Blanchard, Jacob Blanchard, Carroll Blanchard, and Mitchell Blanchard. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Jules Catholic Church, Belle Rose, La.
