Preston Leonard Falgoust

Preston Leonard Falgoust, 76, passed away Tuesday July 6th in his home in St. James Parish. He was a retired Sugar Cane farmer, a US Army veteran of the Korean War 1953-1955, a retired member of First American Bank Board of Directors for 30 years, and a former director of West St. James Parish Farm Bureau.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church from 8:30AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. A Christian burial will follow services at Our Lady of Peace cemetery in Vacherie.

Survived by his spouse Mona Trosclair Falgoust, his 5 children and their spouses; Vanessa F. and Robert Ayres, Nathan P. and Gwendolyn B. Falgoust, Wendell E. and Tammy O. Falgoust, Anna F and Jerome Chauvin, Valerie F and Mark Landry; 11 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 2 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.

Preceeded in death by his parents Paul Nelson Falgoust and Gertrude Tregre Falgoust.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ascension Catholic School and American Lung Association of Louisiana.
