Robert Joseph Granier

He was a caring father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an Electrician for over 40 years at St. James Sugar Co-op. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and sports.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory. his daughter, Lana Rousseau (Kevin); son, Leslie Granier (Kristi); brother, Timothy Granier; six grandchildren, Jessica R. Millien (Martin), Jon Rousseau, James Rousseau (Tara), Sydney Granier, Samantha Burnett (Corey), and Payton Granier; eight great-grandchildren, Noah, Rhys, Natalee, Mia, Jax, Ace, Alani and Stellan; stepsons, Terry King (Toni), Troy King (Christy), Chad King (Keren) and 22 step-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Clouatre Granier; parents, Louis and Edna Chiquet Granier; sister, Mary Ann G. Lambert; and six brothers, James, Earl, Raymond, Thomas, Larry and Eugene Granier.

The family would like to thank the St. Joseph Hospice staff along with Samantha, Michelle and Roxanne for their compassion and care.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church in St. James, Louisiana. Inurnment to follow in the church mausoleum. Father Matthew McCaughey will be officiating.
