Rudolph Henry “Baby” Dupré, 94, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at his home in Belle Rose. He was a retired sugar cane farmer of 70 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Earline Rodrigue Dupré; three daughters and sons-in-law, June and George LaTour, Ann and Kevin Cassard, Faye and Bryan Carbo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Susan Dupré and Tommy and Christine Nickell; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Marguerite D. Landry; and brother and sister-in-law, William “Beagle” and Lucie Mae Dupré.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Victoria Dupré; first wife and mother of his children, Florence Hebert Dupré; second wife Anna Lee Dugas Dupré; son Rudy Dupré; six brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose by Fr. Matt Dupré. Entombment to follow in church mausoleum. Condolences can be made at www.oursodonaldsonville.com.
