Dr. Rudolph Charles Kolb, 87, a native of Vicksburg, MS, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home in Donaldsonville. He was a retired Veterinarian with the USDA, with over 30 years of service. He continued to work another 15 years in private practice in Donaldsonville, because of his love for animals.
He is survived by three daughters, Kathy Kolb Foose and husband James, Patricia Kolb Routon, and Janis Marie Kolb; son, Jeffrey Paul Kolb and wife Rhonda; and five grandchildren, Christopher Foose, Kassie Foose, Cody Kolb, Sara Kolb, and Steven Kolb. Preceded in death by wife, Marriet Milano Kolb; parents, Julia and Philip Kolb; and sister, Elizabeth Kolb Magner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville and on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Entombment to follow at church mausoleum.
