Laura was born to parents Miguel and Eva Rios on October 19th, 1953 in Guadalajara, Mexico. She grew up as the youngest of four. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Laura married Carlos Contreras in 1979, and the couple had two children, Jaime and Carlos. She also raised step daughter Mirna Marquez. Laura worked hard her entire life as a homemaker.
Laura is survived by her sons Jaime and Carlos Contreras, her daughter, Mirna Marquez, her granddaughter, Siouxsie Contreras and her brother, Javier Francisco Rios. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Contreras, her brother Guillermo Rios, her sister Cruz Rios Carrion, and her parents, Eva and Miguel Rios.
