Bozena Rybar-Seropian
Of Dundas, Ontario.
Died on December 16th, 2015 at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in the city of Kosice in Slovakia on June 21st, 1970; daughter of surviving loving mother Anna and predeceased father Stefan and brother Robert.
Loving wife of Zaven (Zack), devoted mother of two sons: Thomas and Luke.
Will be sorely missed by sister Monika Kurimsky and her family: brother-in-law Peter and niece Michaela and her brother Maros; and Kevin.
Left a profound void in hearts of: mother-in-law Angel Seropian and her father-in-law Sahak; aunt Aida and her family: husband Andy, their children: Taleen and Sebu and all extended family and friends.
After immigrating to Canada in 1988 she completed high school at La Toya Catholic School in Mississauga with honors. She followed her passion for arts in acquiring a degree: Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Ontario College of Arts and Design in 1993. During her studies she met her future husband Zaven and in her last year there she studied as Artist-in-Residence in an exchange program in Florence, Italy. Her graduation pieces were chosen to be a part of an Exhibition at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto that year.
She applied her acquired knowledge and social skills in various retail business opportunities. First - and longest at 'La Senza', where she quickly had risen to the position of Regional Manager until the birth of her second son, Luke.
In 2011 she became the Director of Operation at 'Jean Machine Company' where she worked until early of this year; 2015.
Her determination, inner ability to uncover and release hidden potentials in everyone, her non-compromised conviction to stick to her values of love, compassion and encouragement, her contagious laugh and positive attitude to conquer all obstacles in life, her unparalleled inner and outer beauty will be missed by everyone whose hearts and souls were touched by her presence.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the Marlatt Dundas Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow service.
If desired, any donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton.
