Charles leaves behind his daughters Debra (Garth) Parrish and Sherrie (Gregory) Ashmore, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife of 63 years Delores (May 10, 2014) and sons Daniel (2009) and John (1962). Charlie was a Sergeant in the RCAF during World War II, stationed in Newfoundland. He joined Stelco in 1946 and worked for 33 years. When Dad was in his 80’s and had to quit driving, he rode his bike to Tim Hortons every day to meet “his people”. Cremation has taken place. According to his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be taking place at Bethesda United Church Cemetery, Ancaster on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11 a.m.
