Clifford Gordon Maunder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clifford Maunder on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario in his 68th year.

Loving husband to Lena Maunder (nee Valk). Dearly loved father to Nicole Grant and Andrea Goliboski. Cherished Papa to grandchildren Hayley, Caitlyn, and Kyle. Predeceased by his parents Freda and Clifford Maunder Sr. of Hamilton, Ontario. He was survived by siblings Kristine (Ed) Jensen, Kathy (Jim) Harper, Liz (Phil) Stone, Suzanne (Mark) Christy, and Tricia (James) Agboola. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and sons Clifford and Derek.

Cliff was a man of many talents and hobbies, he spent many hours in his garage woodworking and restoring classic cars. He loved music and was a past member of the Dundas Pipes and Drums. Cliff had lifelong career in the Hydraulic Industry, retiring from Stoney Creek Hydraulics. Cliff loved his annual trip to Cuba and enjoyed sitting on the beach enjoying his rum and coke.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 8th from 1pm-4pm at the Marlatt Funeral Home (Reception House), 195 King Street West, Dundas.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will held at a later date.
