1924-2013
Passed away peacefully at the Village of Taunton Mills, on Sunday, February 17, 2013 after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's. Predeceased by her husband Bill and lovingly remembered by her daughters Mary Ellen Craig (Robert) and Lynda Defusco (Tony). Doris began her 49 year nursing career in 1949 at Hamilton General Hospital and was a member of Binkley United church for 50 years. A Special Thank you to all the wonderful caring staff on Perry Wing at The Village of Taunton Mills and to Dr. Ried. Family and friends can celebrate Doris life at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, "SWACKHAMER CHAPEL", 195 King Street West, Dundas on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 2-3 with a Memorial Service following at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Society or Binkley United Church would be appreciated.
