Peacefully, on October 18, 2010, our darling Lizzie passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton and would have celebrated her 72nd birthday on November 3rd. Survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Donald, and survived by Don’s sisters Pat and Margaret, also of Winnipeg. She loved dearly her children Dawn, Robert, and John and her grandchildren Natalia, Julie, Griffin, and Charlie. Elizabeth was a member of the Ontario Society of Artists and an internationally accomplished professional artist whose works reflected her love for humanity. Liz’s unique and charismatic personality led to many lasting friendships. She had many interests including tennis, squash, travel, and especially bridge.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Reception will be held at The MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, FAMILY CENTRE (adjacent to the Funeral Home) 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, October 26 from 12 to 2 pm. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
