Betty Anne and Bob, my thoughts and love are with you both and your families.
The biggest memory I have of Uncle Jim is his big cheerful voice!! From the time that I was a little girl I remember always hearing his voice first whenever we arrived at granny and grandads for a visit and it was always lovely to hear. He had that great sense of humour that many in our family possess and it was always a joy to be in Uncle Jim’s company.
He will always be remembered with love and joy.

My condolences to the family , I am going to miss this man , looking after him over the past few years , I had come to think of him as a father , taking him to his favorite past time (casino) ,he was always there to help me when I needed it . RIP My good friend .

For me choosing just one memory out of so many is almost impossible so I will only say; that Uncle Jim had the most amazing sense of humor that he could and certainly would express in every encounter with him!!

Uncle Jim always had my respect and admiration for being the kind of Uncle every one could cherish!!

Dear Betty Anne and Bob,
Though we are saddened at the passing of a parent it gives us the opportunity to cherish the memories of a life long lived, and often, the gift of a small forgotten memory cheers our hearts.  We always looked forward to Uncle Jim's birthday calls to mom.  His booming voice full of joy and wishes could be heard throughout the room, no need to place the receiver to your ear!  I am so happy that mom, Aunt Blonde and Uncle Jim had many great visits together these past few years.   I have attached a school photo of your father that I found in moms photo box.  It is labeled - Jim 10 years 1948.  With much love and prayers.   Aunt Anne and cousin Debby.

I'll miss you, Jim - I can still remember sharing homemade banana bread and you letting me watch the "Young and the Restless" after school when you would have much rather watched "Three's Company" in peace!  Dinners and Christmas at our place, fun with your grandchildren in the backyard and always a dad joke and a lot of laughs.  Rest in peace. xoxo

To all of Jim's family, I offer my deepest condolences.  I admit that I only met Jim a few times; with our family being so large it has been difficult for the younger cousins to meet up with and keep in touch with those older.  Jim's smile reminds me of Uncle Jim and he has the same eyes as his mother and grandmother.

I am saddened by Jim's passing as I am reminded of the age of large our family.  Hold each other tight and take care of each other.

RIP dear Jim. You were a friend and brother in law to Rick and I. You stood up for us when we got married and lent Rick your jacket he wore. I’ve many memories of going dancing at the legion and card games on a Saturday night.hugs to Bettyanne and Bob, thinking of you both.

Had the most fun with him
We dressed up for Hallowe’en and road a vacuum through Lynden to the legion , such fun
We will miss his calls and crazy things we done
