It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jan “John” Dlugosz on Sunday October 4, 2015, at the age of 93. Loving husband to the late Elizabeth Sebrela (2004). He was a dedicated father to Helen Lennox (Valentine) and Richard Dlugosz (Anne), grandfather to Robert, Andrew, Rianne and Joel and Great grandfather to Tyler, Madison and Mattias. John was a proud member of the Polish Legion for many years. John will be remembered as a gentle, kind and generous man. The family would like to recognize and thank the dedicated staff at the emergency department, and the I.C.U. of Joseph Brant Hospital as well as the Alexander Place Nursing Home in Waterdown. Family will receive friends at the Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King St. West, Dundas on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 08, 2015 in the funeral home chapel.
